Auto 16 Beat TonePrint by Syu
This is a bit tricky. If you play eight notes, this Tone Print automatically gives you sixteen notes. Just like the delay Nuno Bettencourt used on Flight of the Bumblebee on the Extreme album "Pornografitti". Tweak the FX level to match your dry sound, and it will sound exactly as if you are playing sixteen notes when you are only playing eight notes.

TC: So how was this TonePrint session? Syu: It was a very new and unique experience for me. I was tweaking the pedals like I normally do, and all of the sudden you come and show me that it is possible go way beyond my expectations and even change how the knobs work. I really feel that these pedals have infinite possibilities. I usually don’t bother spending too much time on tweaking pedals, because normally pedals do only one thing. But these TonePrint pedals are toys that keep me sleepless, and I can spend hours either trying to get my favorite guitar players tone, or getting my own new sound.
TC: In your opinion, what are the strongest sales points of these TonePrints? Syu: Definitely the sound quality. The FlashBack delay was just speechlessly beautiful, but all the pedals possess a hi-quality tone that you’d instantly notice when playing at a certain volume. The concept that we are actually making “signature” pedals with these TonePrints, is also interesting and unique. I am very proud being listed with bunch of great guitarists all over the world!
TC: Do you like pedals or rack system? Syu: I normally prefer pedals, but you know, certain pedals out there just destroy your tone which, of course, is very frustrating. I occasionally have to judge whether to sacrifice my dry sound, or use just one specific sound from each pedal. But with TonePrint pedals there are no conflicts. The tone is intact and I have all the flavors that I need – and then some.Read more about Syu
